This bike is part of the Ian Dettmer collection and is being sold due to ill health. This is a genuine Hemming motorcycle and the only one made. The V5 states it is a Blackburne which is incorrect, it was wrongly registered many years ago. The bike comes with history backing this up. This bike was made by Frank Hemming in the twenties in Weston-Super-Mare, Somerset. Mr Hemming completed the bike in 1923 where it was registered as a Hemming. Mr Hemming rode this bike until 1929 when it was then stored in his shop. The bike was then stored until 1979 where it was auctioned off and fully restored back to its former glory. The bike c/w a box of parts and accessories specifically made for this bike. It also c/w a folder of newspaper cuttings and plenty of history. Reg. YA 5569
